ACC Cricket Club
It is intended that all children who register and play for the club develop both cricket and social skills. All players should be provided with the opportunity to bat and bowl in every game as far as possible. It is not a primary objective to win competitions.
Our success is judged by the number of children who return to play with the club in subsequent years and who feel that they belong to the club.
ACC Cricket Club was formed in 1974
The Cricket Club was formed in 1974 and the first senior team played in the Western Suburbs Cricket Association in the 1974/75 season. The first junior team played in the Western Suburbs Cricket Association in the 1982/83 season. From one senior team in 1974, the club has progressed to many senior and junior teams from the ages of Under 9’s to Under 16’s,
The club has won many competitions in both junior and senior grades. The club introduced Kanga/have-a-go cricket for the young cricketers in the 1993/94 season and many of those players have now progressed through our junior ranks and are now playing seniors.
Club Philosophy for junior players
